Falcon Complete Security Advisor Intern

Responsibilities
Work on a full life-cycle solution for Desktop software reviews from a Security Architecture and Engineering perspective
Review existing Infosec Architecture and Engineering Desktop Software Review Program and outline improvement areas, focusing on automation when possible
Define the key metrics the team will use for measuring program success, establishing a baseline for each metric
Work with technical leads and managers to support teams with technical consulting, direction, and problem solving as part of the standard systems development life cycle process
Assist with the day-to-day reporting & ad-hoc analysis requests from functional areas
Apply and support architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments
Develop and maintain documentation, end user training material and user facing communications
Be hands on with the design, development, and troubleshooting of existing systems and solutions and will work with team members and/or 3rd party suppliers as required
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a 4-year College or University working towards a BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field and graduating between December 2026 - June 2027
Excellent communication skills, oral and written with a positive communication style
Inquisitive by nature, possessing a general curiosity about how things work
Experience in mapping out processes from beginning to end avoiding any gaps or potential oversights
Proficiency in searching through and analyzing data/logs, looking for patterns and/or anomalies
Ability to trend/visualize data to communicate findings and drive actions
Ability to read and write technical writing and documentation (i.e. summaries of what a particular piece of software actually does)
Project management
Understanding of enterprise applications, plug-ins and browser extensions a plus
Preferred
Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)2 a plus
