Document Control Specialist
Morgner Construction Management Corp. is seeking a Document Control Specialist to provide administrative and document control support within a Los Angeles County Department of Building and Safety Section Office. The role involves assisting the public, answering phones, supporting permit intake, and providing day-to-day administrative assistance to office staff.
Responsibilities
Serves as office receptionist and answers incoming phone calls
Assists the public and office staff with general inquiries
Supports intake and processing of permit applications
Provides administrative and clerical support to Building and Safety office staff
Assists with organizing, managing, and maintaining project-related documents
Coordinates and communicates effectively with inspectors and other staff
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience working in a professional office setting (e.g., office manager or administrative assistant)
Ability to work in a public-facing role with frequent interaction with the public
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work collaboratively with office staff and inspectors
Preferred
Knowledge of reading construction plans is highly preferred
