Systems Analyst II (Epic Professional Billing/Claims)
Texas Children's Hospital is among the best children's hospitals in the nation, and they are seeking a Systems Analyst II specializing in Epic Professional Billing/Claims. In this role, you will analyze and modify programming systems, consult with customers to identify operational procedures, and manage data while performing minor modifications to the application.

Responsibilities
Translates users’ needs into detail requirement specifications
Identifies system or application needs
Analysis of current business practices, user needs and workflow processes
Document the current as is & to be business processes
Perform vendor analysis and make recommendations
Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations
Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle
Performs configuration analysis for system design associated medium sized projects of average complexity
Analyzes system problems and modifications
Coordinates implementation and upgrades of complex systems
Qualification
Required
H.S. Diploma or GED
at least 7 years' experience in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or nursing
Preferred
bachelor's degree
hospital information systems experience
experience implementing and supporting 'Epic Community Connect'
Bachelor's degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience
Master's degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience
Up to two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis
