Responsibilities

Lead the DevSecOps initiatives, implementing security practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle

Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to automate security controls and monitoring

Design and implement monitoring solutions for databases to ensure performance and security compliance

Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and enhance security

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements

Provide guidance and training to team members on DevSecOps best practices and tools

Required

Proven experience as a DevSecOps Lead or in a similar role within a DevOps environment

Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, with a focus on security integration

Proficiency in database monitoring and management with both SQL & NoSQL

Expertise in Python programming for automation and scripting tasks

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus

Experience working within a Java Environment

Experience working with: Postgres, MySQL, ElasticSearch

REST Service Development

Managed Network Services domain knowledge is a plus!

Satellite Communications domain knowledge is a plus!
