Responsibilities
Help teams embed security controls and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software delivery
Coordinate security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and remediation efforts to mitigate risks
Support the implementation of security best practices for cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to safeguard digital assets
Ensure that response teams have what they need to support incident detection, response, and forensic analysis to minimize security threats and downtime
Ensure adherence to industry security standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date documentation
Work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to promote security awareness and best practices
Stay current with emerging security threats, tools, and DevOps technologies, driving innovation in security automation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
4+ years of experience in a DevOps with a security focus
Proven experience architecting secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure, specifically within AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive security tasks and audit workflows
Strong working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, TISAX
