Responsibilities
Lead architectural projects for public sector clients, including judicial, correctional, fire station, and K-12 facilities
Develop and manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success
Oversee quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and codes
Stay up-to-date with zoning laws, code compliance, and ADA requirements relevant to public sector projects
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from governmental agencies
Mentor junior architects and support team development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design with a focus on public sector projects
Licensed Architect (NCARB certification preferred)
Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software
Strong understanding of relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA compliance
Experience with LEED certification processes and sustainable design practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
