Responsibilities
Performing sensitive and difficult project coordination for the Local Assistance and Market Development (LAMD) Branch and collaborating with management to resolve challenging situations
Overseeing complex projects, such as developing implementation plans for designing programs resulting from new legislation
Developing and conducting technical training programs for staff and stakeholders
Developing model tools
Interacting with stakeholders, other state agencies, local government organizations, school districts, and industries to enhance partnerships and share information
Preparing and delivering engaging presentations and trainings
Helping to lead the implementation of the short-lived climate pollutant strategy
Mentoring, monitoring, and coordinating the program implementation activities of the LAMD Branch staff
Managing many multiple priorities and analyzing data to develop models and tools
Traveling throughout the state approximately 20% of the time
Qualification
Required
Experience preparing and delivering engaging presentations and trainings
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and analyze data to develop models and tools
Possess and maintain a valid California Drivers License (CDL)
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678
