Responsibilities
Create technical product, solution, and ecosystem documentation with accuracy, clarity, and consistency
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand the latest product development and document new features for your assigned areas. Improve existing documentation
Deliver expertise in technical writing and editing, structured authoring, topic-based writing, DITA, and other industry-standard paradigms
Create style guidelines and help writers and product teams create compelling, informative standards compliant product content
Create drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency of data for incorporation to manuals
Write, rewrite and/or edit technical documents such as technical solution documentation, technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively
Format documentation in Acrobat, MS Word, PowerPoint, or Excel into templates to be used for future document creation
Create and maintain the information architecture
Maintain and organize document control structures
Qualification
Required
MUST be a US citizen in order to qualify who is willing and eligible to be sponsored for a Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
5+ years of related work experience
Experience with documenting hardware and software features
Experience with Systems Technical writing (Hardware and Software)
Experience in capturing the results of test reports
Experience with documenting hardware and software specifications and functionality
Experience with internet-of-things and embedded and/or connected systems
10% Travel
Preferred
Active Secret security clearance or higher
