Responsibilities
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex Commercial Auto and Trucking Bodily Injury claims from inception through settlement and closure
Analyze liability, assess damages and injury severity, and manage supporting documentation including police reports, medical records, recorded statements, demand packages, and legal filings
Establish timely and appropriate reserves based on investigation findings and anticipated exposure
Collaborate with defense counsel, internal leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders to develop resolution strategies
Conduct thorough coverage analysis and draft detailed coverage/position letters when applicable
Maintain consistent communication with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and clients throughout the claims lifecycle
Qualification
Required
5 – 10+ years of Commercial Auto Bodily Injury claims handling experience
Active Adjuster's License required
Proven ability to evaluate liability, comparative negligence, injury causation, and damages in complex fact patterns
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, thorough claim documentation and reports
Bachelor's Degree is required
