Responsibilities

Integrate technology with people to achieve real-world solutions
Collaborate and gain experience from a diverse cross-functional team
Gain better understanding by applying academic knowledge to a real-world problem set
Collaborating on cross-functional projects aimed at process improvement and system upgrades
Develop real world solutions that benefit the long-term efficiency and performance of the site
Contribute to various sustaining efforts to ensure the site continues to be able to operate
Support a site that impacts over 18 million patients per year

Required

Must graduate between Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
Currently pursuing an undergraduate bachelor's degree majoring in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th, 2026
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Bi, and Word
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
Must have reliable transportation to commute to Boston Scientific's Coventry, Rhode Island Location

Preferred

Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and discovering innovative solutions
Experience with Minitab
Knowledge of engineering problem-solving and LEAN tools
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
