Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports for senior management
Oversee job cost accounting and ensure accurate tracking of project costs and profitability
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and payments
Prepare AIA billing and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Support the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately
Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors
Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and forecasts for various construction projects
Utilize construction accounting software such as Sage, Vista, and Viewpoint for financial management
Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies
Support the Corporate Controller and CFO in strategic financial planning and analysis
Qualification
Required
5+ Years Experience as Accounting Manager overseeing at least $50 Mil in Construction Costs
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in construction accounting or corporate accounting
Strong knowledge of job cost accounting and financial reporting standards
Experience with accounting software such as HCCS, Sage, Vista, and Viewpoint
Familiarity with AIA billing processes and union accounting
