They are seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to support the Revenue division through data-driven insights that inform ticketing, partnerships, and marketing strategy, offering hands-on experience at the intersection of analytics and business strategy.

Responsibilities
Support ongoing projects for Business Intelligence, Partnerships, Ticketing, Marketing, Mobile App and other areas of the business
Provide insights using data on consumer behavior, attitudes, demographics and more
Review and maintain current Tableau dashboards and optimize SQL queries
Assist with organizing, cleaning and managing data in CRM
Participate in the full internship program, including workshops, speaker series, job shadowing and working on an intern project
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Interested in working in the sports industry, specifically within Business Intelligence
Male collegiate basketball players must have exhausted their NCAA eligibility before participating in the HSE internship program
Detail-oriented, self-starter with proven ability to learn new skills quickly
Possess strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and project management skills
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
Availability to work Hornets home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
Experience with market research is preferred
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) is preferred
Experience with SQL or other database languages is preferred
Experience with data science and statistical software (R, Python) is a plus
Experience with HTML is a plus
