Responsibilities
Manage and process sales tax filings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals and vendor payments
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate reporting and identify discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and related documentation
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes
Provide analytical support for financial reporting and audits
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records
Perform additional general accounting duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in managing corporate tax and sales tax processes
Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries
Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and systems
Advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all accounting tasks
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
