Responsibilities
Perform accounts receivable clerk duties
Daily cash reconciliations
Prepare journal entries based on prepared supporting documentation
Audit interface and bank reconciliations
Fixed assets & Right-of-use asset reconciliations
Various reconciliations for month-end
Assist Controller with a variety of tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with creating formulas
Organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of accounting practices and financial accounting standards
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
1+ years of accounting experience
Detail-oriented mindset with a knack for spotting discrepancies
Team player who communicates clearly and works well under deadlines
A proactive problem-solver who loves finding better ways to do things
Preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Minimum 1 year work experience in accounting a plus
Exposure to motor vehicle finance industry a plus
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (ERP experience is a bonus)
