Corporate Accountant
DIVINE DINING GROUP is a well-established, multi-location restaurant company seeking a full-time Corporate Accountant to join their corporate office team. This high-responsibility role involves overseeing the entire accounting function for multiple restaurant entities and corporate operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all accounting activities.

Responsibilities
Own and manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, accounts payable oversight, accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger activity
Supervise and review the work of the Accounts Payable Clerk, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company procedures
Maintain accurate financial records across multiple restaurant locations and corporate entities
Complete period-end and year-end closes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and detailed financial reporting packages
Review and audit period-end financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance
Monitor bank accounts, checkbook activity, and cash flow to ensure financial integrity
Compile and prepare year-end financial data and supporting schedules for submission to third-party CPAs for annual tax filings
Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, sales tax reporting, and regulatory compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
Partner directly with the Chief Administrative Officer and executive leadership to support operational efficiency, budgeting, forecasting, and informed financial decision-making
Serve as the primary point of accountability for the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of all corporate accounting functions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with executive leadership
Highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable managing competing priorities without layered accounting support
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and advanced Microsoft Excel
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Prior experience reviewing financial statements and preparing data for external CPA firms
Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle accounting independently
5+ years of progressive accounting experience (restaurant or hospitality industry strongly preferred)
