Responsibilities
Support the accounts payable process end-to-end, including invoice entry, approval workflows, and timely payments using systems, such as Bill.com and SAP S/4 Hana
Support the travel & expense reimbursement process, helping to enforce our travel and expense policies, and perform the reconciliations for the associated accounts using systems such as Navan, Concur and SAP S/4 Hana
Support cash activity, including uploading bank statements, cash match and bank reconciliations
Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with 1099 reporting
Partner with internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Sales, FP&A, People Ops) to ensure accurate classification of expenses and timely processing of invoices
Assist with financial audits and compliance initiatives as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
+2 years of general accounting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry
Experience in ERP systems, such as SAP S/4 Hana, NetSuite and procure-to-pay systems, such as Bill.com, Ariba, Navan, Concur
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and a solid understanding of core accounting principles
Intermediate Excel skills (such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) and comfort with cloud-based financial tools
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
Preferred
Public accounting background (Big 4 or equivalent) strongly preferred, or demonstrated technical accounting expertise
Experience with multi-entity or international operations
CPA or CPA-track is a plus
Experience with financial automation or ERP optimization projects
SaaS (Software as a Service) experience
Experience with monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analysis
Prior experience with T&E systems, such as Navan, Expensify, or Concur
