Responsibilities

Own and exceed sales and profit objectives for a defined residential product portfolio
Develop and execute a territory go-to-market strategy, including market analysis, target accounts, and distribution plans
Identify and convert residential electrical contractor opportunities within the territory
Drive brand awareness and product adoption through contractor engagement and education
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic distributors, including stocking and sales programs
Conduct lunch-and-learns, training sessions, and educational forums at distributor and contractor locations
Engage with inspection authorities to understand and address regional restrictions or requirements
Attend and support local and regional trade shows, open houses, and industry events
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to share insights and best practices
Stay current on applicable codes, standards, and regulations impacting residential electrical products
Serve as a trusted brand ambassador within contractor, distributor, and trade communities
Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on territory performance and initiatives

Required

Must live in OH or IN near a major airport
8+ years of sales experience within the electrical industry
Strong experience working with or for electrical contractors (residential exposure highly preferred)
Proven ability to develop and execute regional sales and marketing plans
Experience with CRM systems and comfort working in ERP environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales planning tools
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a growth-focused environment
