Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of sponsored projects including assisting with budget management, staffing, and other responsibilities as assigned
Meets regularly with the PIs
Supervises team of paid and unpaid study staff members (e.g., assessors, undergraduate research assistants)
Coordinates various aspects of the project (e.g., budget, scheduling with schools, ongoing data collection)
Serves as a liaison between FIU and local Miami-Dade County Public schools and community mental health centers
Works with leadership at schools and agencies to identify practitioners who will be trained in interventions
Conducts stakeholder-focused activities to identify how programs must be adapted to fit unique school and community contexts
Provides support, training, and technical assistance to community interventionists as they implement interventions in their unique contexts
Serves as a point of contact for community and school stakeholders
Assists with and oversee recruitment and assessment efforts for these projects and meet regularly with the project PIs
Work closely with PIs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., IES, IRB, etc.)
Develops and implements standard operating procedures, as necessary
Contributes to the development of community and school adapted interventions

Required

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits.
As a temporary employee, you are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g. dental, vision,) which requires full payment on your part.
