Responsibilities
Lead a team of high performance Cloud and AI engineers. Provide team leadership, technical delivery and advisory for the broader team
Create reusable artifacts and delivery for public sector customers. Advise and deliver code to deliver public sector missions as part of the larger Google delivery team
Work with go-to-market, delivery and our public sector customers to design, architect and deliver outcomes to further public sector missions
Provide deep domain expertise in AI, serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, resolving deployment obstacles, and deploying AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform
Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and external partners to manage and deliver successful cloud AI solutions through discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and implementation in Google Cloud environments
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience architecting, developing or maintaining public Cloud solutions
5 years of experience programming in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or C++)
Experience in one or more disciplines: machine learning, recommendation systems, natural language processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, or artificial intelligence
Experience in mentoring and managing technical teams
Active, or the ability to obtain, Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Preferred
Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps
Experience in enterprise technology procurement and architecting large-scale, global distributed cloud systems
Experience implementing, migrating or supporting live AI environments on a public cloud with core production strategies
Ability to rapidly adopt emerging cloud technologies and methodologies
Ability to deliver results by orchestrating multi-product solutions through cross-functional collaboration
Ability to drive and influence audiences and identify expansion engagements within accounts
