Responsibilities
Overseeing individual cases of parolees who are serving their sentence outside of Pennsylvania
Monitoring and assisting in the administration of the Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision (ICAOS)
Reviewing and analyzing transfer requests for parolees seeking to transfer to another state
Ensuring that field and institutional staff receive clear and concise instructions for handling cases in accordance with ICAOS rules
Qualification
Required
One year as a Parole Staff Technician 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of clerical experience that included one year in the interpretation and analysis of sentences and case information of criminal offenders; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training that included one year in the interpretation and analysis of sentences and case information of criminal offenders
You must obtain Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) certification within three months of employment and maintain this certification for the duration of employment in this job
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
