Responsibilities
Support laboratory technicians in their performance of quality testing of in-process materials and finished products
Meticulously prepare samples, conduct analytical tests and document results
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments; execute routine repairs, assist with moderate repairs under guidance, and coordinate manufacturer service for complex issues
Verify raw materials against specifications by reviewing Certificates of Analysis and expeditiously release to manufacturing within ERP
Assists with assessing new analytical instruments
Assists with analytical test method development
Makes recommendations for instrument acquisitions
Perform frequent audits to ensure that quality control systems are maintained, and in compliance
Utilize and maintain statistical process control charts (SPC ) and JMP Statistical Software to maintain various instruments precision, repeatability, reproducibility, and measurement correlation
Perform frequent audits to ensure that quality control systems are maintained and are in compliance
Utilize and maintain statistical process control charts (SPC ) and JMP Statistical Software to maintain various instruments precision, repeatability, reproducibility, and instrument correlation across sites
Utilize statistical process control charts (SPC ) to identify, investigate, and correct manufacturing out-of-control conditions
Complies with quality control policies and procedures and maintains required documentation
Maintains a safe environment in accordance with standards, policies and safety regulations
Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO regulations, and safety protocols
