Responsibilities
Responsible for review of warranty and quality issues for the exhaust line (manifold out to tailpipe)
Responsible for reviewing parts and documenting emerging issues
Responsible for implementing potential fixes and mitigation activities including design changes and validation required
Interact with suppliers and work closely with internal and external groups such as testing and prototype labs, CAE engineers, vehicle program team, supplier operations and manufacturing plants
Include quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives
Communicating technical product status to management
