Responsibilities
Provide general support to the Privacy Legal function, e.g., performing specific research, or create content (e.g., slides, charts, summaries, etc.) in relation to a particular topic, subject matter, or issue to support the Privacy Counsels in each region as required
Provide assistance with horizon scanning, identifying, and analyzing new global privacy laws and regulations in support of implementation (e.g., gap analysis updating privacy notices, analyzing contract requirements, identifying transfer mechanisms, etc.)
Undertake first level contractual review on privacy clauses/ DPAs, etc. subject to oversight by the Privacy Counsels
Supporting projects and initiatives from the Privacy Team
Qualification
Required
Demonstrable track record of working with other teams and disciplines towards a common goal
A developing knowledge and enthusiasm for Legal and Privacy subject matters
Problem solving and maintaining SLAs in a highly available environment
Working to deadlines and maintaining a high degree of organization to your work
Highly computer literate
Communicating clearly
Preferred
An understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA and other U.S. and global privacy laws) as well as wider regulations/ practices in novel topics such as responsible AI
Prior experience in contract review and advise on legal requirements
Law graduate or equivalent experience in a privacy field
