Responsibilities

Always have a positive attitude, and be a team-oriented person
Greet the Member(s) in a friendly and professional manner developing relationships and familiarities with our members
Making our members “home away from home.”
Knowledge of modern food trends, wines and spirits
Familiar with the Fine Dining Steps of Service
Solicit the Member's food and beverage order, make suggestions and explain choices as needed; communicate special requests, dietary and allergic conditions to the kitchen staff
Deliver prepared food and beverages to the guest's table, ensuring satisfaction with quality of the meal; follow-up with guests concerning served menu items and any other food issues
Prepare and present the check, performing necessary cashier service to process the payment
Maintain cleanliness and neatness of guest's table
Help to maintain a very clean and professional looking dining floor at all times
Complete opening and closing side work in an efficient and thorough manner
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management; complete safety training and certifications
Other duties as assigned or as required to ensure the guest has a positive and satisfactory dining experience

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within the first two weeks of employment
Must have a valid alcohol server training certification recognized by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC)
Must be at least 21 years of age
Two (2) years of previous serving experience in a fine dining restaurant required
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 20lbs frequently and the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally
Must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed
Must be willing to work at any F&B outlet at Promontory when required
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

Previous experience working with a P.O.S. system is preferred
