Alpha ETF Business Architect - Vice President

They are seeking a Vice President for the Alpha ETF Architecture Team who will collaborate with business stakeholders and technology partners to define and implement end-to-end Alpha ETF solutions, ensuring smooth operations and client onboarding.

Responsibilities

Assists in creation of both BAU and strategic initiatives and plans to define end to end Alpha ETF solutions roadmap to reach future state goals
Working knowledge of multiple investment instruments such as equity, over the counter instruments and debt
Be the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for Alpha for ETF projects/changes
Coordinate the requirement gathering, design, and implementation of strategic technical and operational initiatives
Assist clients with onboarding new ETFs, managing product and regulatory change
Design and implement efficient, low-risk operating models for ETF servicing within the middle office
Work alongside ETF Operations, settlements, IT and product as well as other Global Delivery teams
Supports the development of approaches and plans for resolving staff resource constraints/contentions and creates plans/strategy for building and maintaining subject matter expertise within the business solutions team
Promotes business requirements analysis best practices, tools and controls to improve processes and quality of service
Assists in development and maintains ongoing repository of business process workflow documentation
Drives the creation of business case documentation and requirements analysis for ETF’s and the impact to other service/applications in the end to end model
Work closely with Alpha product initiatives to continuously improve our approach
Partnering with Information Technology ensures proper communication of business requirements to ensure smooth implementation workstreams
Develop data and functional requirements and assist in the creation of related estimates
Participate in information delivery and business intelligence strategy sessions
Complete data analysis, profiling, and data mappings across multiple interfaces
Assist in the development the conceptual/logical data models with appropriate business contexts
Acts as a relationship manager engaging business leads and peers, interfaces with senior leaders across the organization; ensures service quality and customer satisfaction
Establishes and maintains relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners
Persuades and influences courageously at all levels of the organization
Communicates recommendations to management/senior Alpha business leaders through effective written and oral communication

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Information Technology, or related field of study or equivalent, MBA a plus
10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with a focus on financial services or capital markets
Proven experience with business requirements analysis to meet critical business needs, must display an ability to drive tasks through to completion
Deep understanding of the full ETF lifecycle: product structuring, order management, basket creation/redemption, IBOR and middle office functions
Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to interact and influence peers, managers and senior leaders
Knowledge of industry platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, State Street, DTCC)
Demonstrated abilities in interpersonal relations, communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation
Demonstrated ability to lead architecture efforts across business and technology domains
Self-motivated, self-assured, and self-managed
Ability to articulate basic project methodology concepts using either SDLC or Agile
