Responsibilities
Driving operational security excellence in several facilities
Discovering physical security gaps and shortcomings to fix immediately
Interfacing and directing vendors involved in security construction, repairs, daily operations, and patrols
Extracting metrics and observing improvements by analyzing data
Making suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls
Directing efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions
Writing and implementing security processes and procedures
Writing reports, creating presentations, and communicating with management on the status of physical security operations
Qualification
Required
Experience with access control and CCTV systems
6+ months' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment
Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus
Preferred
College Degree (Bachelors) or Background in one or more of: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Special Operations Forces), Law Enforcement with Arrest Authority (Police Academy Graduate), TSA Security Screening, Correctional Facility Officer
2+ years Security experience or equivalent (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
1+ year Leadership experience
