Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, heat treating, etc
Able to reverse engineer tooling from final product

Able to reverse engineer tooling from final product
Minimum five of years' experience in Tool Room environment
Full knowledge and understanding of manual Mills, Lathes, precision grinding and finishing equipment
Knowledge and experience in heat treating, soldering and brazing
Knowledge of various material cutting, grinding, and heat treating characteristics (O1, W1, M50, 52100, 4140, D2, carbide)
Skilled in blueprint drafting
Knowledge of mechanical properties and limitations of stated materials
Knowledge of mechanics of moving parts in working tools and dies
Excellent shop math skills a priority
Knowledge of 5S, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles
High School diploma and two-year trade school or equivalent work experience
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, and other employees of the organization
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Utilize Epicor to log in and out of jobs
