Responsibilities

To provide technical expertise to the physician performing the procedure
Assist the RN with direct patient care, providing exercise testing/pharmacological testing
Obtains patients history, prepares appropriate paperwork for test ordered, preps patients for appropriate test
Ability to operate job related hospital computer systems
Strong knowledge of ECG patterns and cardiac arrhythmias

CCI Certified Cardiographic TechnicianCertified EKG TechnicianBasic Life SupportPatterns knowledgePatient care assistance

Required

High School, Certificate of completion, GED, Training, Experience
CCI Certified Cardiographic Technician
Basic Life Support
Certified EKG Technician from CCI, NHA or equivalent verifiable certification and/or registry
CET-NHA EKG Technician Must be obtained within 1 year of hire
Less than 1 year of experience
