Responsibilities
Assist in M&A opportunity analysis, including preparation of financial valuation models and internal presentations
Participate in M&A process including business assessment, due diligence, and valuation activities
Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives such as new market opportunities, network expansions, and other capital investments
Ad hoc analyses and other special projects related to strategic initiatives or projects within Cable One
Qualification
Required
Relevant work experience (including internships) in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, particularly in the cable or telecommunications industry
Excellent data analytical skills, strong command of finance and M&A concepts, and advanced proficiency in creating complex financial models in Excel
Strong attention to detail, ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills through proficient use of PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment across multiple functional areas to meet aggressive goals
Capacity to work flexible hours to include overtime, weekends, or holidays to meet time-sensitive deliverables
Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality
Self-motivated, high-energy, intellectually curious individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment
