Responsibilities
Lead a global team in the administration, design, deployment, and support of networks and related services and maintain relevant documentation
Install, configure and manage Cisco switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
Resolve problems escalated by support staff, mentor team members, work with other departments as needed to complete projects, solve problems and effectively apply technology to business initiatives
Create, administer, provide recommendations and follow through on security policies and disaster recovery procedures
Coordinate operations and strategy for areas of responsibility as they pertain to the requirements of various business units and teams
Ability to assist with all elements of network infrastructure including installation of equipment in racks, connecting power, cabling and management
Represent the organization and IT department as a whole to end users, service providers and other vendors
Qualification
Required
College degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in a networking leadership role
Strong Cisco networking expertise: switching, firewalls, VoIP, QoS, SIP, and troubleshooting
Experience with Cisco ISE, CUCM, wireless controllers, and wireless authentication protocols
Proficient with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting applications
Ability to work effectively with vendors, ISPs, and WAN service providers
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and use tools for maintenance and projects
Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, with ~15% domestic/international travel and the ability to provide support outside of normal business hours as needed
