Responsibilities
Develop general arrangement, piping, mechanical, and structural design drawings
Define equipment, electrical, and control system requirements
Work with vendors to establish design criteria and equipment specifications
Prepare detailed design packages, scopes of work, and construction bid documents
Manage requisitions for equipment, materials, and contracts
Oversee on-site construction, fabrication, and contractor activities
Maintain project schedules, cost control, and documentation
Enforce safety standards and maintain safety records
Qualification
Required
5+ years of project engineering experience
5+ years in electrical power distribution
3+ years in an industrial environment (pulp & paper a plus)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling (SolidWorks or similar)
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Detail-oriented, self-starter with a commitment to safety
Preferred
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
