Student Trainee (Information Technology) - CES Intern
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking a Student Trainee in Information Technology to support the mission of the US Cyber Command. The role involves writing programming code for audio/video control systems, configuring and troubleshooting audio/visual systems, and providing customer support for video conferencing systems.

Responsibilities
Write programing code for audio/video control systems (similar to Python and C+/C++), including video matrix switching and audio signal processing
Configure, test and troubleshoot conference room audio/visual systems used at multiple classification levels
Perform configuration and testing of internet protocol voice and video conferencing systems
Provide customer support for hardware and software video conferencing systems, audio/visual
Complete formal and informal training, as well as rotational assignments intended to provide and enhance necessary technical competencies
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment and seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) at a qualifying educational institution on a full or half time basis
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
To qualify at the GG-04 - Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or an associate's degree
To qualify at the GG-05 - Completion of 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree
To qualify at the GG-07 - Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education; or Eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision and completion of a bachelor's degree
To qualify at the GG-09 - Completion of 2 academic years of graduate level education, or a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree
To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application
