New Grad, Entry LevelSeneca Foods Corporation is currently seeking seasonal agricultural workers for its 2026 production season. The role involves operating farm equipment, collecting crop samples, grading raw products, and ensuring timely processing of agricultural products.
Hospitality
Responsibilities
Operate pea combine and/or corn harvester to pick the crop and assist with minor machine repairs, adjustments, maintenance, and sanitation
Collect 15- to 20-pound samples of peas and/or corn in an accurate and timely manner
Process pea and/or corn samples at the manufacturing plant location after samples are taken from the fields
Dispatch trucks and schedule loads to the manufacturing plant to ensure timely processing of peas and corn
Operate Farm Equipment to plant beans, peas and sweet corn
Includes positions for General Farm Labor (tillage and irrigation)
Includes Crop scouts and Pre-grade
Work in a safe and responsible manner
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies/procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Regular Attendance
Strong work ethic
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Valid driver's license for any position involving the use/operation of company equipment
Harvest Operators: Ability to work 12+ hour shifts. Shifts can be affected by the weather and crop availability
Preferred
Harvest Operators: Farm equipment operation experience is preferred but not required
