Responsibilities
Lead the execution and definition of vehicle-level software validation testing on labcars across several vehicle platforms
Define additional test cases to be automated using our hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) equipment and document outlined procedures in Jama
Identify and advocate for process improvements that will lead to increased operational efficiency
Report on re-occurring issues, while actively engaging with relevant internal and/or external parties to drive the issue to resolution
Perform data analysis to diagnose test failures and propose robust solutions
Troubleshoot software/electrical issues with test equipment and test vehicles
Prioritize efforts to prepare the test automation platform for upcoming changes on the development roadmap
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (or greater) in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related field
5+ years of experience testing complex systems - automotive or aerospace background preferred
Strong systems engineering mindset
Familiarity with EV platforms and understanding of vehicle software architecture
Proficient in data analysis
CAN/LIN/Ethernet network understanding
Basic Python coding skills
Ability to apply creative and critical thinking to solve problems and deliver exceptional results
Good team player with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to travel domestically/internationally (up to 25%)
