Responsibilities
Follow detailed instructions to run manufacturing operations for the production and purification of high quality silver nanowire products
Operate purification, blending, filtering, and other related manufacturing processes according to detailed standard operating procedures - be comfortable manually pouring large amount of chemicals while wearing full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirators) and flame-resistant coveralls
Record detailed operating parameters and collect relevant QC/QA data
Assist with safe handling of hazardous chemicals and gases
Provide input to the production team for process, quality, and capacity improvements
Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks
Exhibit and upload safe working and housekeeping practices
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School degree with 3+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing role or a bachelor's degree in science or related fields with 1-3 years of experience
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, and mixers is a plus
Experience with reactor blending and processing is a plus
Commitment to excellence and high standards of attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills - able to record relevant data, properly label samples and document observations meticulously and clearly
Demonstrate ability to work both independently and as a team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
Ability to lift and handle weights up to 50 lbs
