Responsibilities
Prepare and support mechanical engineering products, including calculations, drawings, and specifications
Provide training and guidance to develop expertise in key mechanical engineering areas like fluid mechanics, HVAC, and heat exchangers
Conduct subject matter expert reviews to ensure engineering product excellence
Partner with diverse engineering groups to deliver customer-focused projects and drive business growth
Participate in site walkdowns to identify practical, cost-effective design solutions
Collaborate across multi-disciplined teams to tackle complex projects and deliver forward-thinking solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering
Extensive expertise with pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, and/or HVAC
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, but typically ranging from 1-5 days
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred
Experienced with mechanical evaluations and permitting in support of Sections 316(a) and 316(b) of the Clean Water Act
