Responsibilities
Monthly closing duties for financial statement and other reporting requirements
Reconciliation of general ledger balances to detail
Organize data for leases, grants, and other special projects
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions including vendor, customer, and banking responsibilities
Provide support for new system integration and implementation initiatives
Assist with year-end audit preparation
Other responsibilities as directed
Adherence to internal financial controls plus all company policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Accounting and Supervisory experience
Good working knowledge of accounting principles and software
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to pass pre-employment checks, which include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening, following federal law
Preferred
Accounting degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
