InternCibola General Hospital is seeking an IT Support Intern for a hands-on, entry-level position designed for high school or early college students interested in Information Technology. The intern will assist with basic troubleshooting, user support, and computer system maintenance while developing foundational technical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
Assist with monitoring and supporting computer systems, printers, and basic network connectivity
Help install, configure, and set up computers, peripherals, and software for users
Provide first-level support to users by answering questions, documenting issues, and escalating problems when appropriate
Learn how to document work, tickets, and procedures using IT systems and tools
Assist with basic user account tasks such as password resets and access requests under supervision
Work with users to encourage effective and secure use of technology and automation tools
Participate in learning opportunities, shadowing IT staff, and completing assigned projects
Perform other duties as assigned by the IT manager within the scope of training, knowledge, and ability
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in high school or early college (preferred but not required)
Interest in Information Technology, computer systems, or related fields
No formal degree or professional experience required
Basic computer skills (Windows/macOS use, file management, internet navigation)
Familiarity with common hardware such as desktops, laptops, monitors, keyboards, and printers
Curiosity and eagerness to learn how computers and systems work behind the scenes
Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unsure
Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot issues
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, customer-service-oriented attitude
Ability to work independently with guidance and as part of a team
