Will serve as verifier for jackpot payout and credit owed procedures
Maintains staffing efficiency in the Slot Performance Division of the Slot Department through interviewing, selecting, hiring, training, scheduling, developing, rewarding, disciplining, and recommending promotions and terminations, as necessary
Assigns responsibilities to Slot Performance Supervisor on each shift and ensures duties are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls, as well as Ohio Casino Control Commission rules and regulations
Plans and coordinates special projects and makes assignments to project teams
Maintains a good working relationship with vendors in order to acquire prompt technical support and receive information of new products in a timely manner
Trains Slot Performance Supervisors and provides guidance and assistance with career development
Ensures all slot maintenance, repairs, relations, set-ups and break-downs are handled in a prompt, efficient manner
Verifies the accuracy of letters to the Ohio Casino Control Commission regarding gaming approvals prior to mailing
Maintains an accurate count of slot machines on the gaming floor and matches the units licensing information
Enforces company policies, procedures and performance standards
Ensures accurate completion of daily reports
Notifies Director of Slot Operations of pertinent issues, as needed
Maintains slot floor security by notifying department management of any suspicious activity
Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls
Maintains a working knowledge of all games in order to perform repairs and/or preventative maintenance
Develops, implements and reviews the slot product and processes
Ensures integrity and product reliability
Conducts effective analysis and reporting on slot products to maximize revenue and protect company assets
Monitors and maintains the total logistic requirements of an effective slot repair operation, always anticipating the needs of today and the future
Qualification
Required
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours)
Act as a role model to other employees and always leads by example
Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts
Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel
Respond to visual and aural cues
Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights
Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives
Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Must project professionalism and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be 21 years of age
Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; bachelor's degree preferred; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of three years of slot maintenance experience, with progressive supervisory/management experience required
Project management training and experience required
Ability to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the State of Ohio
Preferred
