Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning and deep neural network models for a variety of business use cases
Apply strong theoretical knowledge of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and data science best practices to solve complex problems
Write efficient, production-quality Python code for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation
Design and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from large-scale databases
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production systems
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Stay current with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and deep learning
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Utilize GitHub workflows for version control, code review, CI/CD, and collaboration, ensuring best practices in code quality and project management
Qualification
Required
1+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
Strong theoretical foundation in machine learning, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and statistical inference
Hands-on expertise in Python for data science and machine learning (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis
Experience building, training, and deploying deep neural networks (CNNs, RNNs, transformers, etc.)
Demonstrated expertise in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on using GitHub workflows for version control, branching strategies, code review, and CI/CD automation
Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data
Preferred
Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (e.g., GCP Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker)
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring
Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
