This role focuses on performing bone density (DEXA) examinations in accordance with physician orders while ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.

Responsibilities
Perform bone density imaging examinations as ordered by physicians
Select appropriate positioning, technical factors, and radiation dose calibration
Produce optimal image quality while adhering to ALARA principles
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
Maintain compliance with state licensing and national certification requirements
Qualification
Required
Education meeting radiologic technologist certification and licensure requirements
Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License (upon hire)
ARRT National Certification required within 6 months (180 days) of hire
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire)
New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months
