Responsibilities

The Attorney will represent clients in litigation matters involving housing and land use issues, including writs of mandate and municipal/public entity disputes
They will draft and argue dispositive motions, conduct legal research, and collaborate with team members on complex cases
The Attorney will advise clients on housing-related laws and regulations and contribute to shaping legal strategies that address California's housing challenges
Travel to court and client meetings will be required as necessary

Required

At least three years of litigation experience

Excellent analytical and writing skills
Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions
Strong academic credentials
Admission to practice law in California
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa

Preferred

Familiarity with laws such as the Housing Accountability Act, affordable housing regulations, housing elements, builder's remedy, and land use litigation
