Responsibilities
Deliver business valuation and forensic accounting engagements in divorce and matrimonial matters
Act as a go to expert for family law attorneys, courts, and high net worth clients
Develop and manage a personal book of business, typically ranging from $500k to $1.5M+ depending on level
Provide expert or supporting expert services, including reports, depositions, and trial preparation
Coach and develop junior and mid level team members
Support the growth of the practice through client development, proposals, and market facing activity
Work closely with colleagues across other service lines on complex matters
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in business valuation and or forensic accounting
Direct experience supporting matrimonial or family law litigation
Expert witness or testifying experience is a strong advantage
Comfortable running engagements and managing client relationships end to end
Evidence of business development activity and an existing client base
Strong grounding in valuation methodologies and financial analysis
Preferred
CPA, ASA, CFA, ABV, CFF, or comparable credentials preferred
