Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Python scripts to customize Ignition SCADA functionality
Configure new equipment interfaces as benchtop assets are onboarded
Build and modify UDTs, tags, and alarming strategies aligned to GMP operations
Support integration of PLCs and field devices into Ignition
Collaborate with process, validation, and IT teams to ensure compliant deployment
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance as system load increases
Produce clear technical documentation suitable for regulated environments
Qualification
Required
Develop and maintain Python scripts to customize Ignition SCADA functionality
Configure new equipment interfaces as benchtop assets are onboarded

Support integration of PLCs and field devices into Ignition
Collaborate with process, validation, and IT teams to ensure compliant deployment
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance as system load increases
Produce clear technical documentation suitable for regulated environments
Hands-on experience with Inductive Automation Ignition in production or pilot environments
Strong Python scripting for automation and SCADA customization
Experience integrating benchtop or small-scale manufacturing equipment
Working knowledge of PLC communications (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing
Ability to operate autonomously while aligning with site standards and change control
