Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS). Oversee hot water heating, cooling/AC, process refrigeration, fire protection sprinklers, compressed air, and hydraulics. Operate Cogen and HRSG units, ensuring all facility systems run within specified guidelines and reporting any out-of-spec conditions to leadership
Document all PM activities on facility-related equipment using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Manage parts inventory and execute work orders through the CMMS to ensure operational readiness
Calibrate monitoring equipment to ensure continuous system accuracy
Perform other facility-related tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Building Services
Specific experience with HVAC (Chilled Water, Desiccant, and Direct Expansion/DX) is required
MA 2nd Class Fireman License
Ability to obtain forklift, pallet-jack, and man-lift licenses
Necessary experience in pneumatic systems
Thorough knowledge of mechanical production equipment, pumping systems, and basic safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space)
Demonstrated Windows-based computer skills; ability to use CMMS software
Must possess own trade-related tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing specifications
Ability to use measuring devices/tolerances and operate machine tools (drills, lathes, millers, etc.)
Must read, write, and speak English fluently with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team
Must pass a Leadership Assessment
Preferred
Universal Refrigeration License
Wastewater Treatment Certification
Electrician/Journeyman Electrician License
Class A or B CDL
