Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive account reviews via inbound/outbound calls and digital channels to explain products and offer coverages that meet specific policyholder needs
Make informed decisions using established underwriting guidelines and procedures for all licensed states
Recommend additional or increased coverage where appropriate to enhance the client’s value proposition
Independently verify data and document every interaction across multiple systems with accuracy and concision
Maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations while upholding the highest standards of trustworthiness
Adhere to workforce management schedules, with approximately 90% of the day dedicated to phone-based consultation
Qualification
Required
Typically 2–4 years of experience within an insurance agency or carrier environment
Must possess or be able to secure and maintain appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education credits
Proficiency in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and the ability to navigate multiple applications and monitors simultaneously
Proven ability to independently identify obstacles and develop solutions within department service level guidelines
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with a positive, patient attitude
Preferred
Prior experience in a call center or contact center environment is strongly preferred
