Responsibilities
Define and own the enterprise architecture vision
Translate business strategy into target-state architectures
Establish architecture standards, principles, and roadmaps
Guide major programs, including ERP, merchandising, supply chain, digital, data, and cloud
Partner with CIO to shape investment decisions
Evaluate tradeoffs across cost, risk, scalability, and speed
Drive simplification and platform rationalization
Ensure strong integration patterns across vendors and internal systems
Promote security, resilience, and regulatory alignment by design
Mentor NGI IT architects and senior leaders
Review and approve solution designs for material initiatives
Qualification
Required
15 plus years in enterprise or domain architecture roles
Deep experience in large scale retail or grocery environments
Proven leadership across complex, multi-year transformations
Strong background in packaged platforms and SaaS ecosystems
Hands-on experience with cloud and integration architectures
Ability to communicate complex topics with clarity and precision
Track record of influencing senior leaders without direct authority
