Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications using:
Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, ACLs
Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and platform services
Lead platform-level enhancements across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or custom product modules
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of ServiceNow platform solutions
Design and implement enterprise data intake frameworks within ServiceNow
Ingest structured and semi-structured data from:
External systems, SaaS platforms, and data lakes
Event streams, batch feeds, and near-real-time APIs
Normalize, validate, enrich, and persist data using best-practice ServiceNow data models
Architect and implement bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow and Snowflake
Enable:
ServiceNow → Snowflake data replication for analytics and reporting
Snowflake → ServiceNow ingestion for operational intelligence
Collaborate with data engineering teams to support:
Advanced analytics, dashboards, AI/ML pipelines, and enterprise reporting
Build and maintain secure REST and SOAP APIs for inbound and outbound integrations
Leverage IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and Spokes for enterprise connectivity
Implement authentication and security standards:
OAuth 2.0, JWT, mutual TLS, API throttling
Ensure reliable error handling, retries, logging, and monitoring
Optimize scripts, queries, and integrations for performance and scale
Enforce data security, access control, and compliance requirements
Participate in platform governance, code reviews, and architectural design sessions
Partner with product managers, architects, data engineers, and AI teams
Mentor junior developers and establish platform development standards
Contribute to technical roadmaps and platform modernization initiatives
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development
Strong hands-on expertise with: JavaScript (server-side and client-side), Script Includes, Glide APIs, Flow Designer
Proven experience in data integration and data engineering patterns
Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
Strong experience with REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and enterprise integrations
Deep understanding of: ServiceNow data model, Security, ACLs, performance optimization
Preferred
Experience working on ServiceNow product engineering or platform-core teams
Exposure to: AI/ML enablement using ServiceNow data, Event-driven architectures and streaming pipelines
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS preferred)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
