Responsibilities
Provide technical tax analysis and support across complex initiatives including transactions, restructurings, financing, and global tax planning
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and assess impact to tax positions
Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors on planning and strategic initiatives
Support compliance-related workstreams as needed and assist with audit inquiries
Evaluate tax structures and identify opportunities for optimization
Help improve and streamline processes using automation and technology
Qualification
Required
J.D. required (LLM in Tax preferred)
2+ years of experience from Big 4, a top law firm, or an in-house tax team supporting a multinational business
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and timelines
Ability to work 5 days/week onsite in the Chicagoland area
