Senior & Mid Level Grants Management Analysts (5 positions)
The National Grants Management Association is seeking Senior & Mid Level Grants Management Analysts to provide expert-level support across the full grants lifecycle. The role involves reviewing, monitoring, and administering grant awards in accordance with federal financial assistance requirements, focusing on complex awards and high-risk recipients.

Responsibilities
Support pre-award activities, including application reviews, budget reasonableness analysis, and recipient risk assessments
Evaluate applicant financial and managerial capacity in accordance with 2 CFR 200.206
Assist with preparation and documentation of grant and cooperative agreement awards, including terms and conditions
Conduct post-award monitoring, including desk reviews, financial report analysis (e.g., SF-425), and performance assessments
Support recipient site visits (virtual or in-person) and prepare monitoring documentation
Review and process award amendments, scope changes, and period-of-performance extensions
Provide technical assistance and training to recipients regarding reporting, compliance, and allowable costs
Support closeout activities, including reconciliation, final reporting, and audit readiness
Assist with application intake and review, ensuring completeness and eligibility
Support budget and cost allowability reviews under 2 CFR 200
Track award actions, obligations, amendments, and reporting deadlines
Review recipient financial and performance reports for accuracy and timeliness
Support post-award monitoring activities, including desk reviews and follow-up actions
Assist with closeout documentation and reconciliation activities
Provide routine recipient support and technical assistance
Maintain accurate grant files in FHWA systems of record
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, public administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of federal grants management experience for juniors, 5 years for mid-level and 10 years for senior
Demonstrated experience with competitive grant programs and recipient oversight
Strong knowledge of 2 CFR 200, cost principles, and audit requirements
Experience working with federal grants management and financial systems
